Position Title:

PACS Implementation Consultant

Summary:

Implementation Manager.
Dublin, travel required

Purpose of Job:

To undertake workflow analysis and documentation associated with the implementation of Change Healthcare’s solutions within a hospital environment.

To Provide training services covering Change Healthcare PACS and other Change Healthcare Applications.

The main duties include but are not limited to Application Build, Workflow Analysis and on-site applications for new and existing installations in hospitals throughout Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Current State Workflow Analysis
  • Design Future State Workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process Workflow)
  • Determine application optimisation within the department and provide the customer with Best Practice methodologies
  • Analyse unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training accordingly
  • Work closely with the Customer during the Implementation of the system.
  • Develop training plans and documentation
  • Coordinate and provide Super User application training on relevant Change Healthcare systems.
  • Ensure that course completion certificates are supplied to customer sites in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all Super Users can train customer End Users and understand any unique customer site requirements
  • Carry out application and integration testing with the customer, documenting any system changes
  • Liaise with project managers on site progress, system updates, issues and testing
  • Onsite support during go-lives
  • Provide Application Training and support to other Change Healthcare staff from Technical Marketing, Sales, Support and other groups as required
  • Identify, File and Follow-up Product Feature requests
  • Identify, File and Follow-up Product Investigation requests
  • Provide ongoing product feedback to engineering, sales and product development teams
  • Provide support to the Customer Success team with application issues
  • Issue tracking, investigation, resolution and communication to sites and customer team on issue progress
  • Update training materials
  • Test new system releases and communicate changes to sites and customer team
  • Carry out regular site visits
  • Liaise with technical team to understand and resolve technical issues
  • Liaise with engineering team to progress issues, document issue/investigation logs
  • Liaise with the customer services team
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Adhere to Health and Safety standards at all times
  • Work to Change Healthcare Ireland Quality Standards
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities

Education/Training, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Education & Training:

Third level qualification in IT/Health Sciences

Experience:

5+ years IT/Radiology experience, with considerable experience of training individuals/groups within previous roles. Experience of working in a clinical environment is essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and skills effectively
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage project milestones
  • Awareness of high level of customer service delivery
  • Knowledge of NIMIS Workflow and Change Healthcare PACS an advantage.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Regional and International travel will be required.
  • Full clean driving license & own car essential
